This thread actually brought me out of SHH retirement. The title was ridiculously absurd. I don't know where you guys are now in the discussion, but some people simply underestimate the power of this billion-dollar buisness. I'd be willing to bet ratings raised a bit after the Benoit tragedy. This is one of the worst cases of any publicity is good publicity, but its true.
By the way, for some of the wrestling fanatics, anybody remember Dave Meltzer reporting a year ago that a big name star was being observed very closely for his health and mental state? I wonder if Benoit was the guy. I always thought it was Angle or Flair.
