WHAT!?!?!?! Season 3 only to have 13 episodes!!!!!

The first thing on the page is this:

Heroes is currently on hiatus. The series was renewed for a third season of 25 episodes and will air on Mondays at 9 p.m.

I've seen it referenced that Volume 3 will actually start with the last 12 episodes from Volume 2 (compensating for the strike). 13 episodes from "Volume 3" would bring the tally to 25. More than likely, this is the case. What they refer to it as or what volume is included under seems to be secondary. We're getting a full season's worth of eps.

I haven't clicked the link cause I don't want to see more spoilers than I need to. But I'm pretty sure that Season 3 is Volume 3, cause if you remember at the end of Season 2 is said End of Volume 2, then Volume 3: Villains.

Volume != Season
A season may have more than 1 volume in it. Originally, season 2 was supposed to have volume 2 and 3 in it, but then the strike came. That site says that Volume 3: Villains will be 13 episodes. Season 3, however, may be comprised of more than 1 volume. Season 3, as a whole, is supposed to have 25 episodes.
