Five Feet Apart

Didn't love it, but I didn't hate it either. It's a very typical romantic teen film with all the trappings of a Nicholas Sparks novel. And it's more or less The Fault in Our Stars, but with a smaller budget. The acting is probably the movies only strength. Haley Lu Richardson continues to be great in everything and Cole Sprouse did a surprisingly good job even though his character is a bit of a cliche. Outside of that, the movie is fairly predictable. They had some chances to make things even more interesting and new, but they chose not to which is a shame. Overall, it's pretty average and it wont surprise me if they start playing this on the Freeform channel 24/7.

How to Train Your Dragon 3: The Hidden World

It was good, I'd say 7/10. Nothing unexpected or groundbreaking but it wrapped things up nicely.

Justice League vs. The Fatal Five

I really dug it. Bruce Timm's DCAU comes back again once more and it almost feels like they never missed a step. The animation and character designs are exactly same, which was great. You can tell they sorta learned their mistakes from Batman & Harley Quinn (which I was okay with). This definitely feels like it could be 5 part episode of Justice League Unlimited only with more blood and a little more cursing. They do a pretty good job introducing Jessica Cruz into the story and how the Justice League deals with her. It was also great hearing Kevin Conroy, George Newbern, and Susan Eisenberg all together again. And Star Boy is probably the best character in here, he's the glue that ties everything together and Elyes Gabel does a great job voicing him. Overall, it's really great. It's exactly the kind of quality I want from DC animation again.

Batman vs Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Absolutely blown away by how wonderful this turned out to be. This could have easily gone to the bad campy territory and it didn't. Like the Lego Batman movie, it's incredibly self-aware of what they're trying to pull here and they just have fun with it. It's exactly the crossover story you want it to be with all the humor intact. Also one of the best thing about it is the animation, I can't tell if it's Nickelodeon helping out, but it looks great. And while I haven't been impressed by Troy Baker's Joker, I thought his Batman was perfect for this. As for the voice cast for the TMNT, I thought they were great as well. Overall I really loved it.
