Classic 70's Bond film. Our little country could actually "pride" ourselves here with having no less than TWO stunning "Bond girls" here (I just had to use that outdated term since it fits perfectly to this era) in this totally ridiculous, dated, silly but IMO always kinda stupidly enjoyable Bond flick. Of course most is due to the charisma of late Roger Moore and Christopher Lee here. RIP to both these amazing gentlemen.
Bond girls rock! I met Caroline Munro (Naomi in The Spy Who Loved Me) and she was lovely. She spent twenty minutes chatting with me and my kids, then insisted on going off to find someone to take a picture of us all together :hrt: :007

Mehhh. The Tobey Maguire scene was incredibly entertaining though haha.

The Fog 1980 followed by The Fog 2005

The original is okay. Being a 1980 film it does have some limitations and artifacts of the era but I don't think it's quite the masterpiece some people do. Nothing wrong with it at all, just not my type of horror. The remake however is every bit deserving of the inferior reviews call it.

This is even more a relic of its 2005 era than the 1980 version was. So much of it just screams "Ghost Ship," "Final Destination," "Scream 3," "Cherry Falls," "Th13rteen Ghosts" and so many others with a similer feel to them.

The music, the CG, story beats and especially the way the cinemtagraphy does those cuts. Other, better movies were able to implement all of this without feeling cheesy and overdone.

Avatar: The Way of Water - 4/5

Breathtaking visuals. The story is better than the first movie. While the first movie was basically Pocahontas/Dances with Wolves 2.0 and fairly predictable, the sequel had a tinge more originality to it. I’m excited to see where this franchise takes us. This is a series where each movie will be better than the previous one.
