I didn't know what I was getting into with this one - went into it blind - and I didn't care too much for The Purge and even less the sequel I never finished - but this turned out better than those at least! (5.5/10)

The Core 2003 - Well paced, and a sense of adventure (particularly in the second half when they start the journey to the core). The acting was mostly flat with some cringeworthy scenes, and I think that's what really held it back.
