TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES (1990)
QUALITY = 8/10
JOY 9/10

You can have three guesses which movie turns 30 next week.
I think one shot on the outside showing the hideout of the Foot in this movie is the same abandoned building used for the climax battle in Spider-Man (2002).
It's interesting to think how willing Casey Jones is to kill in this movie without remorse. Why was he ok with killing Shredder?

Good movie, but a little goofier than I remember.

Why not? The movie still retains some of the comic book's hard boiled influences, so it fits.

Great, great comic book adaptation. One of the best, and seriously underrated.

The Wind (2018)...is a mess. A 19th century frontierswoman horror movie. I was ready to roll with it, but it wants to be Eggers' The Witch (2015) though it's just a confusing mess of a story told out of order without indicating to the audience and while there's a few unsettling shots it's not worth either the puzzling journey nor the puzzling destination unfortunately. :down
