It's a beach on the ocean a nice sunny day. I'm sitting with 3 other people. One guy and two girls. We are discussing some project, something for school. The girl across from me is very witty and we trade some banter getting a few jabs in at each other. We are sitting at a green plastic table. The beach is very crowded fro the most part, but our part really only has a few other students sitting at these tables.
Then this music starts to blast out, and people are getting very annoyed. Whenever someone tells the guy to turn it down he turns it louder. It's annoying everybody, nobody is having fun just trying to ignore the music. ONe of the grils says she wish it would stop. SO the other guy goes over to Music Man and asks him to turn it down. The guy gets up and tries to attack him chasing him away. A few more minutes go by and we talk some more, the girl across from me is getting annoyed, as am I, I'm feeling really angry. So I get up, and she says what are you doing. I tell her I'm going to talk to him or destroy his radio. She tells me I shouldn't do that because he'll just attack me. I smile and tell her not to worry. I head over there and there is now a huge crowd around the guy just standing there. The guy is in his shorts, he has long hair his head is down and I can't see his face. I decide that I have to think about this first so I head to the bathroom to figure out what I'm going to say. After I figured it out I see this little kid walking towards the guy. Everybody starts to mutter.
The kid walks up to him and says "Excuse me mister."
"what?" He shouts "Don't you dare tell me to turn it down"
"No, I was just wondering who this band is."
The guy tells him (couldn't hear what it was)
The kid says, "Well, it's just not everyone likes this kind of music, so I was wondering..."
"What? Well fine what about Cole Porter then." He gets up and goes to the radio and starts looking through his tapes.
"Well, Sir I was actually wondering if you could turn it off? Or maybe use some headphones? It's just that it's bothering the other people and everybody just came here to have some fun. And well nobody wants any trouble, but it seems like your music is aggravating some people."
He looks at the kid and then looks at the crowd. He turns the radio off. People cheer and start congratulating the kid.
I return to the table I was at. It's starting to get dark and I decide that I'm not doing any more work I want to enjoy the beach. So I take off my shirt, get ready to enter the water. By the time I get there everyone else is already in the water and my dad is there talking to the other three people. When I reach there I'm surprised to see him, but I'm ready to go swimming...
