If you worked at DC Comics and could write any hero how you think it should be done, who would you write? What would you fix or change? What story would you wanna tell? Why?

I would what more stories for the weird. He was pretty cool.

I'd like to bring continuity back to the way it was set up before Waid and company screwed it up. And I'd like to bring back story arcs with sub-plots.

I'd like to find a way to bring in the better elements of the 'Smallville' series and make Jimmy a normal kid again. The first thing I think I'd have to do would be to do a time warp story that put's continuity back.

Some of Waid's Krypton could still exist but it would be as part of Krypton's ancient history. Pre-Byrne's Krypton.

Another thing I think I would do would be to have Clark and Lois start having difficulties.. just to shake things up for a little while. Maybe have them separate (not permanently .. ) so that we could explore what that relationship might become under those circumstances.

I don't like what they're doing with Jimmy's origins... that he was homeless and sleeping in the print shop. I liked it better when he was living with his Aunt.

I think I'd mess around with Perry, too. Maybe have him start going through some troubling times that make him start sneaking cigars once in a while.. with no regard to the lung cancer he recovered from.

You have to shake things up once in a while to keep things interesting. The only trick is to make sure you have a believable way to get them back to where you started .. a little sadder but wiser.

I would like to give writing Uncle Sam a go.

JLA most likely, I would be torn between the rest of the heroes.

i would remove selina kyle's baby from continuity... or change her back to a prostitute as frank miller had intended.

Iam going to have to go with Green Lantern.
:gl:

I'd love to be able to write Green Lantern. It's really the single most vibrant and colorful corner of DCU right now.

LAWL! COLORful!

I'd like to write Batman dealing with the Joker's execution. It makes no sense that the government would allow the mother f**ker to keep on living.

JSA, I'd like to change Alan Scott around a little bit.

Hasn't that already been tried?

Did'nt they do a story like that where the Joker was going to be executed but Batman cleared him because it for a murder he didnt commit?

Aw hell, I'd love to write Superman. But most of my ideas probably wouldn't fly with editorial. On a slightly related note, I'd love to write a new "Superman's Pal: Jimmy Olsen" series.

I'd read it as long as it was Morrison's Jimmy from All-Star. He's teh awesome.

Yeah, he really was. I think I'd go for a cross between Morrison's Jimmy centric issue of All-Star and the TV show Spaced.

I'd read that.

I'd like to see Perry retire or something and Lois take over as Editor.

Well, she does wear the pants in the family. Above all, I'd like to see Clark and Lois have a kid. Goddamn, if any DC character should be a dad, it's Clark Kent.

one thing I just never wanna see is Superman have a kid...I would love to see the idea of Lois and Clark getting a divorce though and see the idea of him trying to win her back...

Something like that, but the idea I have in my head is that the Joker actually gets executed. And Batman does not kill him either.
