You still need to eat and as was pointed out, you'll need to defend yourself from everything that in the normal world is at best a nuisance. All that will cost money. If anything you'll find work as a mini-person that probably would pay well. Lots of things a tiny guy or gal could do that would benefit someone.

I would solve housing unaffordabillity by giving everyone a tiny mansion. And I would shrink large animals like whales so they can be kept on their own ocean and be happy
