Now that Sam Raimi has been fired (or quited) from the Spider-Man franchise he can move forward with those other projects he's been attached to.
The first one is The Shadow. Raimi wanted to adapt the pulp hero back in the late `80s but the studios felt that he wasn't enough of a name to tackle such a high-profile movie. So, he created his own hero instead. Darkman. The Shadow was eventually made in 1994 with the director from Highlander and Alec Baldwin in the lead role. In 2006, Raimi bought the rights to the character.
The second one is a re-launch of the Jack Ryan franchise. Around 2007 or 2008, he was hired by Paramount with George Clooney attached to star at one point.
Finally, there's World of Warcraft. Raimi, apparently, was in the running to direct The Hobbit but was passed in favor of Guillermo Del Toro. So, last year he became attached to develop this film instead.
The Shadow would be my choice, but World of Warcraft makes the most sense.
