I'm trying to upload a gif but am being told it's too large. The file is 5.7 mb. How can I compress it to upload?

The size limit is 245 kb or something like that. It honestly should be larger, I'm always running into problems.

Looks like the limit is currently 2MB for attachments. I increased it to 5MB (which is still smaller than your file alas ) as that size hasn't caused problems on HF.
