the only cool thing about myspace is that you can make a web page that expresses who you are through pictures, backgrounds, and music choices and people can send you messaged.

Myspace is so rife with spyware and viruses because it's probably the single worst and most insecure implementation of php ever put onto the net. Their server security is also provided by f**ktards, so that doesn't help, either. I've never gotten a virus or spyware from Myspace...then again, I use a Mac. The fun ones are the phishing schemes. I put false information into them that looks just legit enough that I know it will send those guys on a wild goose chase. If you're a Windows sufferer, just make sure you've got your antivirus software up to date and running. If you don't have any AV software, then check out Clam AV. It's free, updated frequently, and won't f**k up your computer like Norton or McAfee will.

Why is that place packed with viruses, spywares, etc? I'm getting a little tired of my anti-virus program informing me that it had to block something from myspace. Tom and Fox corporations need to really get their s--t together. If this keeps up I don't know how long I will last as a myspace member.
