My friend and I had a road trip from Virginia to Nebraska in his VW a few years ago. On our way back to Virginia, there's this one part of I-64 that literally goes down a small mountain. It was my turn to drive and with permission, I hit it going about 120ish.

It ranks in my top 5 for most adrenaline I've ever had surging through me. Incredibly stupid and reckless but soooo fun.

Years ago when I was stationed in Germany I routinely did 140mph on the autobahn. The 5series BMW I had had a governor that wouldn't let me go pass that speed. I always thought it was odd that it was set there.

In the states I haven't gotten over 115mph.
