Where would Wonder Woman get a fashion sense? Hasnt she been brought up on an isolated island? Im no expert on WW but im pretty sure they dont have television or project runway over there? How could she know one fashion designer from the next?

Yes it's true that Wonder Woman will most likely be new to Man's World however that does not mean she will be a complete novice when finding appropriate attire to help blend in with the populace. As they say 'when in Rome'...Diana will quickly acclimate herself to societal norms so as not to stand out when in disguise. As she first arrives she will no doubt take in the fashion sights of 'human' women and set her gaze on designs she feels best represents and flatters the female form. Just look at the photos of Gal's Diana on set. Even though we are only seeing one look, we get a sense of her fashion aesthetic. Borrowing from that we could envision her aligning with designers such as Diane von Furstenberg, Tom Ford and even Balenciaga.

While on Themyscira however, I would imagine Princess Diana wearing silhouettes similar to these...

True, true, we have no idea how long she's been off the island. Also, maybe other amazons have left the island before her and returned with stories to tell of the outside world? Another thing, she may have met Steve Trevor already(this is what im thinking) and he could have filled her in on how to fit in with more civilian clothes?

Edit: Nice ideas for Themyscira dresses. I have to admit, i know next to nothing about fashion but i can imagine Gal Gadot wearing something similar.

I don't know if Brooks Brothers is right for Bruce. It depends on how much of an act the Bruce Wayne persona is. Brooks Brothers is understated, old fashioned and classically American. In essence, it is perfect for the REAL Bruce Wayne. Also, the more relaxed nature of the classic Brooks Brothers cut would help hide Wayne's build.

If Bruce's public persona is more of the vapid playboy, then, something more fashion forward, flashy and Italian would work best like Gucci or Armani. Armani, in particular, is a good fit for Wayne because it is famous for its fuller, baggier cut, which once again hides Bruce's physique. But, that approach was already taken in The Dark Knight Trilogy, with Bruce wearing Armani.

A good compromise might be Tom Ford. It is extremely expensive and luxurious in line with the playboy facade, but the suits are cut very traditionally with proper length jackets and fuller lapels and have an old school cool look to them. So they might be the perfect fit for a vapid but well-meaning playboy philanthropist.

^great post. What kinds of colors do you want Bruce's suits to be? Black is too formal, unless they show him at some ball or something.

I think light grey would suit Affleck well, if they show him in just one suit over the course of the movie.

Bruce should stick to classic business colours like blue and grey. No doubt that Alfred would have taught him the old school rule that black is only for weddings and funerals. I don't know about light grey. Based on photos from some events, it doesn't seem that flattering on Affleck. It might be better to go darker. I say stay away from Lindy Hemming's preference for three-piece suits with notch lapels. Peak lapels would look nice and maybe some double-breasted suits now that they are back in style. It would be a nice homage to Bruce's look from BTAS.

Edit: Actually, navy seems to suit Affleck best and it also has the benefit of both being the classic colour of American big business and a change from all of Bale's grey suits.

Tom Ford is great for Bruce! However as this is an older, wiser and more weary version of him, I prefer to see Bruce sporting Balenciaga!

I much prefer the Italian cut over the American cut for Bruce's suits (leave the English cut for James Bond ). The Italian cut gives a more broad, commanding presence which exudes class and reminds me of The Godfather, Year One, TLH, or in other words, the Batman mythos where the Italian mafia has a heavy influence, which I love.

The American cut just reminds me of a car salesman or a sleazy businessman trying to scam you out of your money, lol.

Indeed. And he looked great as he portrayed a 'younger' playboy. Affleck's 'seasoned' Bruce should re-define that fashion sense and not mimic what has come before.

Eh, I think Affleck looks like a banker in that outfit, tbh. Bale, even while wearing an oversized suit (helped sell the worn-down look in TDKR), actually looks very wealthy. The suits in BB and TDK also fit a lot better.

I get what they were going for in TDKR (I guess) but Bruce looked so scrawny and weak...

I'm not totally sold on Affleck as Bruce or Batman (namely because of his acting although I hope he proves me wrong) but he sure does pull it off based solely on looks so I'm happy about that at least. The style they've chosen to go with suits him well.
