When? When and what will make you stop collecting figs?

If I lost my job.... that would fu** my life... most of it.

when i get everything i need. realy it wont end. ill just get things from the past and get the little newer things

ya i don't think anything could stop me, unless they turned into ****. but if i ran out of money, that'd only delay me.

actually toys are becoming in a way out of style. i can see less produced. i might stop then

what the F**** are you smoking? how are toys going out of style? and when were they ever in?, toy collecting for teens and adults was and has never been a "fad" so how could it be in or out of style?

I've all but stopped... :( which is sad.. i can only afford what I really want... now :(

Whenever I feel like it I guess.

Probably won't get as many anymore since Hasbro sucks.

^ i reckon there gonna improve alot, i mean they seem to have the whole helmet head fitting thing going on. like ult iron mans helemt. unlike magnetos helmet which looks to tight on him from TB

overeaction mean anything to u? its not a HUGE decrease but toys are slightly fading. they wont leave us and the one here to stay till the end are obviosly ml, dc direct, etc. but the thing is we all live in diff places. for instinsce, ur toystore may cary power rangers, but here they arent selling so good so they wont have as many figures. maybe by next season of power rangers if they dont sell as good theyll drop the line from theyre store. see where im getting to?

basically whats happened to me is my mcfarlane sports collection hasnt ben running so smooth since walmart and some tru here have stop selling them. im not smokin nothing *hides weed* but really its different things causing me to stop. i wont stop because we have technology lol. internet for u people who didnt understand lol

Exactly. What's wrong if some people collect action figures? There's not a thing wrong with that at all. I collect Spidey 3 and Fantastic four figures. But let's not over do it like some of you are doing.

whawhat? lol i have no problem with collecting figures but things here are stoping me

I think when someone like my Brother is buying action figures (McFarlane Sports) then the action figure community is in no worried of fading.

Figures now days are easy to get hooked on buying. There's Spider-man and Fantastic four. Before that i got some Lord of the rings figures. Also Star Wars. Alot of those Burger King toys are good too.

im saying what ive read in magazines and on tv. video games and there was somthing else is taking over. toys arent going "out of style" but they are slighty falling in sales. im just saying in some areas like mine (texas) theres not so many figures as there were. like for example a new walmart literally just opened here. for some reason they had like two racks for ml instead of like 5 at the others. also there were only 3 rows or ails for toys. its a huge walmart and thats the smallest part. it may be the area i dont know but im saying its harder for ME to get toys

umm dude.. toys arn't decreasing... you will know this when you have a little kid

toys are selling like always, problem is when there over produced (ala Hulk movie line) the store can't sell them all because not everyone and there mother collects figs. so they stay on shelves for years, taking up spots for new figs, as well as ruining chances for related lines, the companies think "since these movie figs didn't sell, neither will the comic" etc...

the toy buisness isn't hurting

so a little kids gonna convince me? i have a little bro myself who loves toys but im just going by what ive heard. i will admit to possibly being wrong but from what ive heard sales arent as good right now. HOWEVER and i did say this toys wont leave us. im just saying TO ME and i said that it might just be my town or area that MY toystores are carrying less and less figures and more and more other electronic thins

electronic things are still toys my friend, they just are updated like everything is. toys just don't consist of action-figures.

toy sales probably arn't good in ratio to what they use to be, but thats again due to mass production as well as department stores closing down toy stores.

Toy sales are going down. I can tell by my Walmart too. They just got in the Transformer figures and i don't think not one has sold. The POTC toy line is doing good though. But when you make Johnny Depp, Keira Knightley, and Orlando Bloom plastic i guess that will sale for sure. Toys aren't doing good because kids have DVD'S and video games and yes the internet.

*shakes head back and forth* it's called over stocked, man. esp with a new movie line, they have alot of those sitting back in the store, when some are bought, they put more on the rack. But with pirates for instance, the toys have been out for a few months, there getting less shipments so there not replenished as quick so i looks like there selling while the always stocked Transformers are not.

WTF?
I go to Wal-mart, and the POTC figures haven't been touched, and the Transformers movie figures are gone.
