If they opt for a continuation instead of a reboot, I wouldn't be surprised if DJ Caruso got it due to the Speilberg/Bay connection and that fact that he could be controlled.

Neil Blomkamp. I like to see him be the directer of Terminator 6, in the mean time he can created experience with Transformers 4 & 5.

Jon Favreau. Iron Man 1&2. Cowboys & Aliens whas directed by him and produced by Spielberg.

E.J. Foerster. Did a lot of second united work. (Tropic Thunder, The Chronicles of Riddick)

Transformers 4 should not release earlier then July 2014 and the fift should be release December 2015. On this way it look like back to back but it be a litle bit longer then a year.

I think guys like Blomkamp would be better suited for a reboot than a sequel, IMO. In which case, I think guys like DJ Caruso or Louis Letterier would be better in that regard.
