opinions, please.

can a mod edit the title as 'animated' is incorrectly spelled

for the record I think it's under the red hood. brilliant animated movie.

I like Mask of the Phantasm.

Mask of the Phantasm. No question.

Mask of the Phantasm, no competition.

But, Return of the Joker was great and Under the Red Hood was good.

Right now, Mask of the Phantasm, but I have high hopes for Year One...

While I love all three of them it's

Mask of the Phantasm

Under the Red Hood

Return of The Joker

in that order, in my opinion of course :)

I've never had the chance to watch a Batman Animated film, although I vaguely remember watching Sub-Zero as a kid on Cartoon Network... I was trying to watch Under the Red Hood but my local rental store didn't have it :csad:.

I have only seen Under the Red Hood. Sounds to me like I better check out Mask of the Phantasm.

I've watched all Batman Animated Movies if I remember correctly. I liked The Batman vs. Dracula, Mask of the Phantasm, Under the Red Hood and Return of the Joker.

Mask of the Phantasm for me. Return of the Joker was just okay to me. I expected better. Under the Red Hood was pretty good, but Mask of the Phantasm has tenure and greatness behind it.

Hey guys, I'm currently trying to go through all the (worthwhile) DC Animated films for the first time, and so far I've seen Mask of the Phantasm, Under the Red Hood, and Batman/Superman: Apocalypse. So far, Under the Red Hood was my favorite (though MotP was great as well), and I really didn't care for Batman/Superman: Apocalypse at all.

So on that basis, which Batman flick should I watch next? I don't want to waste my time with the duds like Apocalypse again. And a semi-related question: are there any Superman ones worth checking out? Because Apocalypse kinda turned me off the more Superman-centric ones, but I DO like Superman, so if there's a good Supes one out there, I still wanna give it a chance.

Also, preferably any that are based on actual arcs from the comics, like UtRH (yes, I'm super-psyched about Batman: Year One. That's what spawned this little marathon in the first place).

^Under the Red Hood is a very nice movie. It really follows the continuity. :)

I liked the Batman: Sub Zero

You should definitely check out Subzero. It's amazing.

Batman Under the Red Hood, tho Mask of Phantasm has my 3rd favourite Batman score and Return of the Joker has one of my favourite Joker jokes. Under the Red Hood provides both action and drama like no other and gives a bitter sweet conclusion to the story.

Thanks, I'll add it to my Netflix queue. I always did love Mr. Freeze in BTAS.

EDIT: Adding Return of the Joker as well. Thanks, Drz!

Mask of the Phantasm for me, by a mile. Debatably the best Batman movie ever, including live action.

Surprised to see so much love for SubZero. Never cared much for that one.

In order for me:

1. Mask of the Phantasm
2. Return of the Joker
3. Under the Red Hood
4. Subzero

Mask o fthe phantasm.. I still remember seeing it in theatres.

Mask of Phantasm and it's not really close for me.

The story, the script, the voice talent, everything just came together so well. Personally TDK didn't even top it, almost everything about MoP is perfect.
