:woot: the score for Christopher Lee's Dracula comes to mind!

Doc Ock's score is very reminiscent to classic horror as well

That booming orchestra always makes my head spin. Seriously great. Electro's theme blew my mind too, it was perfect for that interpretation of the character. Scared, angry, anxious, alone.

I loved electro's score, it was like the musical embodiment of his rage. They could've got a lot more use out of it, if only they didn't throw electro to the wayside

Electro is one of the biggest pluses of the film for me, so I was annoyed that he didn't appear for such a long stretch of time. But when he does appear again, he makes up for it.

I love how they kinda incorporated the score into his attacks in the power plant battle too (I'll admit, I liked the it's bitsy spider part, even though it kinda doesn't make sense how the plant doubles as a musical instrument)

Honestly, I liked that too. Better than having Foxx sing it like originally planned. I really liked that pseudo-Arabic wailing that appears when Lizard is about to jump Spidey in the sewer.

I came across this vid that goes into the making of "My Enemy".

So Pharrell did perform those lyrics. I always thought it was Foxx b/c it sounded like him at the end of "The Electro Suite" and during that exact rehearsal with Pharrell.

Ock's theme was brilliant. Loved it! But I loved Venom's theme more. The black suit theme was awesome as well.

Oh yeah, I think that same wailing was used for the opening theme (when the Columbia logo appears).

Yeah it was. I liked Horner's score, but I found him underwhelming for the fight scenes, especially the school scene. I liked that Zimmer gave each villain their own motif in the score. I really like "Cold War".

1. Green Goblin's theme (TASM2)
2. Doc Ock's theme
3. Rhino' theme
4. Green Goblin's theme (SM1)
5 Venom's theme
6. Sandman's theme
7. Electro's theme

Did the Lizard have any sort of theme at all?

That's the thing: I believe Horner had the better theme but Zimmer had the better score. It's too bad Zimmer didn't just create a remixed or revamped version of Horner's music (something similar to what we got in the SDCC trailer for TASM2).

You hear some music during the hallway fight that *might* be a theme. When Gwen hits him with a trophy, he turns around and says, "GWEN!" It sounds something like Doc Ock's theme from Spider-Man 2.

When Zimmer was hired, I figured we'd be getting something totally different. I actually like the fact that the music went in a totally different direction this time out rather than rehashing or remixing. Electro's theme is a close second to Octopus's for me, Goblin's was suitably eerie, and Rhino's was rockin'.

Yeah, I noticed that. I liked the music that played when Gwen was hiding from him at Oscorp. It added to the scene's overall Jurassic Park vibe.

I don't know, I hate when a franchise keeps changing the theme. Raimi's film series had a very clear theme throughout the series, and it builds a consistency for the franchise. The X-Men films literally change the theme with every movie (except for DOFP using the X2 theme again) and it always irritated me.

To each their own. I like either option. The scores for the MCU films have all been good. Maybe their Spidey film would have more rock influence, like Iron Man or GOTG?
