Since it looks like he'll be playing antagonist in some form, I have two characters in mind: Crossfire or Phantom Rider.
Of the two, I think a reimagined Phantom Rider is most likely, unless they do want to somehow link Crossfire with the Ant-Man movie villain (which is possible).
Any other ideas?

Taskmaster. :woot:
He would be a good fit for spy elements.

But they will maybe keep him for bigger stuff.

Good option.
I did think of him for either Daredevil or Ant-Man, but not for this.

I like Crossfire.

I could see Fehr as the villain Slaymaster.

Slaymaster is world class assassin and one of Captain Britain's rogues. He killed all of S.T.R.I.K.E.'s psi-division in the comics. Lance Hunter was director of S.T.R.I.K.E. in the comics.

Another choice is Carl Delandan. Delandan was a rogue S.H.I.E.L.D. agent whose corruption was found out by former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Mockingbird

Hmm

I knew of Delandan but not Slaymaster.
Will look him up.

Taskmaster was definitely on my mind, although Slaymaster's background could clinch it.

Slaymaster is kind of the arch-rival (or was the arch-rival) of Captain Britain. He is muslim. I'm not sure he qualifies as well-known, though.

It's going to be some nobody. This show is already in danger and it hasn't even aired the pilot yet. If he were someone important, we'd either know about it or promotion people should be fired (or they haven't decided/gotten MCU clearance for him yet).

If they go with Slaymaster doesn't this mean they'll be involving Captain Britain himself?

I heard they're planning a Captain Britain tv series unless that was another April 1st joke would that mean crossovers unless they're being done by different companies?

Have Hunter organise a team and Slaymaster kills them only Hunter has some unexpected backup forcing Slaymaster to flee?

Now I'm thinking more Mockingbird and their version of Excalibur as the UK version of AoS's Secret Warriors?

Lord does STRIKE exist in AoS?

I assumed it was just a euphemism for not an original character

That news came from an artist doing concept work for the supposed pilot. When further investigated what surfaced was that the person who commissioned that work was someone bouncing around the idea, to see if they can get backing for a pilot.
So, although someone IS trying to get it made, Marvel is not involved. Not at the moment anyway.

It should like someone was just pitching to marvel which is what happens all the time in the film and television industry.

I could see them position Lance as substitute Captain Britain. Allowing Fehr to be Slaymaster.

I wonder if his character will be moved to SHIELD given this wasn't picked up.
