While what happened to Deadpool in Origins Wolverine was terrible, I’ll still take it over Galactus in Rise of the Silver Surfer.

At least Deadpool started off fine early on in Origins Wolverine it wasn’t until the third act where they completely mishandled the character. Not to mention, you only had to wait seven years for them to make a proper film adaptation of Deadpool. With Galactus, he was terrible the moment he showed up in ROTSS. Plus they made him a freaking cloud, which is just so goddamn lame. Plus it seems like next year is when we’re gonna get a proper version of Galactus which is 18 years after he first appeared in ROTSS. What do you guys think?

IMO, Deadpool should have had Gambit’s role in Origins and been the one who helps Logan find Stryker. And Omega Red would have been the muscle to fight at the end. But, that’s only the tip of the iceberg.

And I didn’t mind the Galactus thing so much; he could have easily emerged from the cosmic cloud in a sequel.
