Who should be the villain or villains of the Justice League movie.

I personally would want Darkseid, the White Martains, or the Legion of Doom to be the villains of a Justice League movie. Here is a list of villains I would want to be members of the Legion of Doom.

I voted for Darkseid only because The Legion of Doom would be to hard to do without developing the characters. Well Darkseid he can be easily described and his goals are much clearer. And the armies would make some great battle sequences...

I like the OMACS, just not for the first film. It makes no sense to have something created by paranoia to be in a film where there hasn't been anything to be paranoid about has happened yet.

Guys, what about the Apperlexians? They're the bad guys who ended up bringing the League together in the first place, and visially they're pretty cool.

For some reason they don't exist there. Just read JLA: Year One. They were the bad guys in that, and it was pretty sweet. The origional seven were from an alien world, and were sent to Earth to fight each other to decide who would rule their planet. In order to survive in Earth's atmosphere, they each took on a different physical form: A rock giant, a fire giant, a wood giant, a diamond giant, a glass giant, a mercury giant, and a giant golden bird.

Eventually, it turned out that there was an eighth who survived their fight with the League simply because he had been injured upon arriving on Earth and wasn't there. He was nursed back to heatlth by a group of scientists called Locus, who became his followers and helped him, the de fact ruler of Appelax, ready the world for conquest. A year later, 7,000 Appelaxians invaded Earth.

I went with Darkseid, simply because he's always been one of those characters who was more of a bad guy to ALL heroes versus just one. In other words, I wouldn't particularly like to see him in a Superman movie or a Green Lantern movie, but a JLA movie? Hell yeah.

I also think Max Lord would be cool to have as the initial sponsor of the JLA and then have him doublecross the team at the end of the movie.

It was a tough one between White Martians and Lord Darkseid + his minions, but I ultimately voted for the White Martians with the hope that Darkseid could turn up in a sequel.
