Who would play Sabretooth? Keep Mane or get new blood? Triple H? No Wrestlers?

Tyler Mane definately was not lanky though.

Either one'll do fine for me really. Just give the character more dialogue.

Kevin Nash has my vote. He was also the Russian in the Punisher movie. Dont know if it would be a good idea to change actors though. Not like people wouldnt notice. Maybe Tyler Mane might actually be a decent actor.

Sid Vicious looks more like Sabretooth than Nash does.

I still think Mane is the guy. The problem with Sabretooth in X-Men was the script, not Mane's performance.

Im definitely not a fan of the Sid look, lol. Nash would be okay, but there is just something missing when I look at him that doesn't work for me, not sure what it is exactly though.

Keep Mane, he is a great Sabretooth. His shortcomings in X1 were not Mane's fault, they were the fault of the characterization Singer chose for him. Singer got his sadistic side, but he made him growl too often and seem like a dumb brute instead of a cunning killer.

Just tone down his prosthetics so he doesn't look so much like a caveman, don't dress him up in dirty torn clothes so he doesn't look so much like a homeless person, and give him more dialogue than growling.

In the new upcoming Wolverine spin off, everyone knows that Sabretooth is a must. What is Wolvie without his sadistic arch nemisis? But who are they going to get to play the big ol' sack o' psycho?

Tyler Mane has been critisised time and again for his poor portrayle of such a pivitol character, but who do you feel? Should he return?

On that note, if he were replaced who would play him? Would they get another wrestler? Should they stay away from wrestlers and go with a profesional actor? Either way, who could pull it off?

Personaly, and don't stone me for saying this, I think that Triple H, who played a Vampire in Blade Trinity, could pull it off rather well. He has that sadistic attitude, and pulled off a similar role in Blade: Trinity. What do you think, is he acceptable?

Did Tyler Mane portray him poorly, or was there just nothing written for him? Because hey, looks-wise, combat-wise, Mane was a solid Sabretooth. And as a former pro wrestler, I'm certain that he knows how to be a trash-talker. He knows how to be loud, and obnoxious to boot. He'd have to, or he'd never have succeeded as a wrestler.

Give him a script with more Sabretooth-like material before we judge whether or not he was a failure.

Oh I'm not saying the Taker is the be all to end all just throwin my 2 cents in...I also would love to see either Nash or Sid do it. I didn't like Mane and the make up job was just god-awful. He looked more like a big dog than Sabertooth.
The problem with HHH doing it is he is 6'4 and jackmans 6 something and I think you should still have a height difference between Logan and Creed. With Nash, Sid or even the Taker the height factor is no problem at all.

So you want a guy who is at most an inch (if at all) taller than Jackman to play Sabretooth? I don't want to see a repeat of X3 where Juggernaut is barely taller than Wolverine, especially since we have Mane who is 7 inches taller than Jackman. He also has a much better look to him. His face looks more chiseled whereas HHH's looks chubbier.

The Taker... I dunno, his face just looks too... "sad" for the part. Or something.

And HHH and Nash, seems to me they'd have to force the proper facial expressions too often.

Not too sure how familiar y'all are familiar with him but I think Nathan Jones would be a pretty decent Sabertooth...He's got the size and the scary look down pretty damn good. i recently saw the Protector (could have been a better flick, but ok none the less) and he makes a very good villain.

I'm only against Hunter because he's just 6'4 standing to a 6'2 Wolverine.
