I'm not sure if they just hadn't read that GL issue, or if they were trying to imply that it was just a front, or the stress getting to him, and he'll never truly trust Hal again, or what. But the minute Hal goes rogue, Batman is like "Yup. I knew it. I knew it! Noooooobody listens to me."
