Why Hideo Kojima is ******ed....

I've never heard of you and that's all that matters. You must be a real non personality, that's all I have to say, to have been around for so long and just never said anything memorable or of any value whatsoever. Well done on just being there....pretty much sums up your whole existance, no? :o

What's ironic is, I should be the one asking who the hell you are. I've been posting here longer than the majority of the posters here its just that I don't frequent the games forums. Never heard of you before at all. You're just an ignorant, attention-seeking noob to me. Clearly, you're a rejected orphan, reaching out. Pathetic.
I spend my time having more meaningful discussions/arguments elsewhere, here on these boards. Hell, I was pretty good friends with Thwip who btw was a regular psoter in these parts before he got banned but don't think for a second, you're better than me because evidently, you're not :o
Thanks for the joke but you're entertainment value has long since expired.

Wow. You're REALLY not funny. Or does my opinion not count, cos noone knows who I am?

Arrogant tw@t.

in the liverpool slums

in the liverpool slums,

you open the dustbin for something to eat
you find a dead cat and you think it's a treat
in the liverpool slums :D :D

You should be, but you aren't as good as me. Sorry :(

If you are spending so much more important time elsewhere, how comes you find the time to reply to my posts? I mean you are too good to reply, so why do it? :o

Wow. You're REALLY not funny.

I stand by my original diagnosis. Like I havn't heard that before, from wittier or funnier people than you. But I see through you like the chubby loser that you are, and I don't like having my posts deleted like the MGS fanfilm thread.

So I'm moving on to actually discuss relevant videogame stuff with coherent, friendly people.

Poor mentok, he wants a Kojima game so badly for the Xbox 360. He didn't know that Project 'S,' which is most likely a new Snatcher game, is a Wii exclusive :(

EDIT: NEVER MIND, HE JUST POSTED IT IN THE WRONG FORUM AT GR

Hey everyone, Horrorfan is the new Zolly Becker.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FwzTewjToYY

This is Zolly Becker giving us his well informed, unbiased, very intellectual opions and critique of the latest Bond film. Watch through it... Zolly Becker's funny... for all the WRONG reasons.

...........................

Now Horrorfan, just p!ss off. I, like many others, hate people like you, who just post 'he's crap coz i say so', and try and flame. My god get a life.

I personally love MGS. To me, MGS is the games best series out. But thats just MY opinion... DEAL WITH IT.

Hideo Kojima is a true creative force in games. He tries to be innovative... and succeeds. Look at MGS for example. He introduced the stealth genre to games back in 1987 with Metal Gear, then he brought stealth to the 3d gaming world with Metal Gear Solid for the PSone. Now, alot of games use stealth as 'part' of their gameplay. But, the only game to rival MGS for stealth is Splinter Cell... which, IMO, is boring compared to MGS, and doesnt play as well.

He also, through MGS, introduced a very cinematic style of telling stories in games, which again, most games now do.

Hell, i enjoy his cryptic talk. I love the way he teases the fans. Not everyone like him, but i'm sure they appreciate him.

some people i know don't think MGS is as good as it's made out. But, unlike you, they APPRECAITE why people think it's that good.

So, in conclusion. Shut up, be open minded, respect other peoples opions or F*** OFF... my new Zolly Becker :D. Oh i realise it's your opinion about Hideo, but the way it comes across... i can't, in the slightest', respect them.

BTW, where do you come from? I am from Liverpool, England. I'm very proud of my city, and of its people. I love the fact that scousers can make fun of themselves, and idiots like you seem to think it bothers us... which is just as funny :D

I applaud not only the fact that not only do back me up with a superior arguement, and not only are you a fellow scouser, but you may love Red Dwarf even more than I do. Kudos.

Henceforth, whenever I use your name, you shall be known as....

Smegger56: What a guy...

Bless you my fellow scouser :O

It, to, is good to see a fellow scouser here. And a dwarfer to boot

Dude, horrorfan hates the UK :csad:

You know those chavs I told you about? In those videos?

Liverpool is pretty much the birth place of chav culture. 99% of liverpool is chav. It's pretty much the worst place in england.

Question. Where did you get that info from?

Also, have you ever been to Liverpool? Or, are you just going by the typical sterotype Liverpool fallen under?

The more you talk, the more of an idiot you sound.

I have been to liverpool. I would say it should have a nuke dropped on it, but to be honest, it seems like that has already happened. It was a ****hole.

It's like all the blokes are beer drinking, drunken morons and your women are all over 40 and pregnant with kids they cant afford, or under 14 and pregnant with kids they afford. It's like poverty village, UK. Burned out buildings....I thought I crossed into silent hill. And the people are mutants.

Ok... what was horrible about the city? Please, i really would like to know the reasons.

And again, answer this bloody question: WHERE ARE YOU FROM?

London. It's not great, but it's not liverpool bad either.

But seriously, Im really only kidding bout the scouser stuff :P.

Friendly rivalry is always fun ;)

Sorry Horrorfan, but whilst I'm from Liverpool, I live nearer and work in Manchester, and whislt the actual city and architecture is far superior to Liverpool, the people are even worse.

But about chavs I'll give it to you that we started it, but Mancs jumped on a pushed it to another level. Now it pretty much describes the whole culture of the country, and only now is it beginning to slowly die out.

You live in London? Dude East London is utter turd. Cultural, but Disgusting. How is it any better than Liverpool. and cockneys suck.

Actually, the PC title Castle Wolfenstein introduced stealth to gaming way back in 1981. Goldeneye on N64 released in 1997, a 3D game, had stealth elements. And the first Tenchu, a full-blown stealth title hit stores months before MGS which proves your claims false. Get your facts straight, skippy.

Now, alot of games use stealth as 'part' of their gameplay. But, the only game to rival MGS for stealth is Splinter Cell... which, IMO, is boring compared to MGS, and doesnt play as well.

Splinter Cell is a true, bona fide stealth game as are the likes of Tenchu and the Thief series and not pseudo-stealth like MGS. Heck, even the Hitman games have far more 'stealth' in them than MGS.

He also, through MGS, introduced a very cinematic style of telling stories in games, which again, most games now do.

The first Resident Evil was one of the games that had already tread the ground of cinematic storytelling and took it one step ahead with its sequel before MGS arrived on scene. And by the time people got their hands on Kojima's title, Half Life had already surpassed it by its revolutionary and seamless integration of cinematic storytelling with real-time gameplay.

People who think that the MGS series is some kind of holy grail of gaming need to either play more games or cultivate a better taste.

Define Bonafide stealth please.

Define Bonafide stealth please.

I'm not in the state of mind right now to indulge people with explanations to questions the answers to which are already obvious enough to begin with. Suffice it to say that if you don't know what a true stealth game is or should be like, then you are in no position to say MGS is one. And MGS isn't one.

Kojima - "But like I said, MGS4 is aimed for the movie theatre, it's aimed for the PS3, so the game's scenario and graphics need this theatre-type hardware. It's when a producer has a game that can work on the 'DVD level' that a game will go multiplatform", he says. http://kotaku.com/gaming/go307/featu...ima-248695.php

Doesn't anyone find it hilarious that current PC hardware (DX10 graphics cards, Quad-Core processors) is undoubtedly more powerful than the PS3? If Sony's new machine has a 'theatre-type' architecture, what would that make the PC with titles like Crysis? IMAX? ;)

And his 'DVD level' comments are absolutely ridiculous. Technically speaking, Resident Evil 5 may very well surpass MGS4 if not at least equal it in all terms and that game is multi-platform. Also, Alan Wake is easily more impressive than MGS4 (watch the Intel Quad-Core Conference demo) and that's a 360/PC title, so hardware inadequacy is completely out of the question here. It doesn't hurt to just outright say you want to stay loyal to one particular console. That kind of frankness far outweighs silly and dumb excuses like Kojima's. Perhaps all these years of conjuring mindless jargon for the MGS series has finally taken its toll on him.
