I am on board with this. Love Wile and the concept sounds cool and clever. George Clooney as the voice ftw. I'd much rather see this (or other films in this vein) than a belated Space Jam sequel..
I had an idea for a film that I would love to see called Looney Tunes to the Rescue.
An old black and white cartoon, once the "golden boy", (made up character retconned to be there from the beginning “Rascal Raccoon” – voiced by Christopher Walken) now bitter about being forgotten in the transition to colour and in particular the popularity of Bugs, kidnaps him and threatens to have him "rubbed out". Unbeknown to Rascal, he has also accidentally kidnapped a little girl who was with Bugs at the time.
With Bugs gone, Daffy sees this as his time to shine (cue a montage of Daffy making Bugs style episodes) but other companies and investors are only interested in Bugs. With viewers and shares starting to fall, the Warner Brothers decide to send out a small team of Toons (somewhat reluctantly headed by Daffy with Foghorn, Wile, Sylvester and Porky) to save Bugs.
Joined by a knowledgeable animation assistant, the father of the little girl (a Chris Pratt or Chris Hemsworth type), they must enter the Warner cartoon vaults and search through various iconic back drops to find and save Bugs. Rascal has rallied some of the villainous Toons to his cause (“aren’t you tired of always being the foil, never winning”) so along the way they will attempt to be stopped by the likes of Yosemite, Marvin, Elmer and Rocky and Mugsy.
