Apocalypse Will Dazzler and Psylocke be in?

Wadlow said it would be Maggie Q, if there was X-Force movie, but for teenage Betsy in 70's I would choose British.

Is love to see those characters. I think 80s is a great era to be intriguing some of the most popular comic/cartoon characters into the film versions!!

Oh and I'm backkk, sorry if you missed me.

It is. And it would totally rock if they could somehow pull in something like Gaga or Born This Way into it.

I recently saw the video below and could not believe the preachers. The things they say to the LGBT community, they're obscene and not even biblically true. I was about to exit when the flash mob walked in and changed everything, in a non-violent, artistic, and loving way. I couldn't help think of X-Men, of course. Gaga could make a good Dazzler.

Psylocke works far better within X-Force than she ever did on the X-Men, so save her for that movie. I'd love Dazzler though - the X-Men could use at least one more woman now that they've added Nightcrawler to the team.

Psylocke with super hot asian actress. Not Betsy please.

Her name will be Elizabeth "Betsy" Braddock regardless. Unless they go full on story with body switching and all that, I don't see any reason not to make her Japanese from the start.

Who could be a good Dazzler? And please don't say Lady GaGa.

Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Britney... there are many options.

Really hope they would go with an actress who is not a well known Pop Singer. Or at least a performer who is not that attention heavy to the point of being distracting on screen. Plenty of actresses out there who can sing...or be autotuned if they can't.

The well known pop singers are more suited to play Dazzler in something like Deadpool then here. Where there is more of a self aware comedic element goen on.

AnnaSophia Robb maybe? She's around the right age, can act and looks the part. Beautiful gal there.

I was joking about Cyrus, Perry and Britney.

But now seriously, I'd love to see Brie Larson in a comic book movie. I think she sings too.

I love her <3

I was hoping you were Lip haha. Seen a few mention those as serious casting decisions through the years though

Was thinking about Brie Larson as well. She was awesome performing that Metric song in Pilgrim. Not too sure but I think she did have or was pursuing a music career at some point. She can def sing though.

Eh, I prefer her to appear with the X-Men.

There's absolutely zero gain storywise to adding Psylocke to the X-Men. Her best characterizations, interactions and stories are with X-Force.

I mean her British body :woot: I call it Betsy

I'd rather see the british Betsy first, at least in one movie. They already introduced "mind transfer" idea in the cinematic universe (Xavier in X3).

Sienna Miller as British Psylocke! She was fearless in G.I. Joe. Then Zyang Ziyi for Kwannon! She was fearless in Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.

Or we can just bypass the whole mind/body switch shenanigans and just make her Asian. That's her most popular and well known incarnation, no need in wasting time with her British form.

to Psylocke being a mainstay of X Force.

Psylocke was already set aside in the cartoons for not being part of the main team and I would hate to see it if shes just gonna end up as a member of a spin off team in the movies. Seeing her with Wolverine, Rogue, Storm, Cyclops, Jean would be more exciting for me than to see her with Deadpool/Cable. Also story wise.. its up to the writers, she could be the next Colossus or she could be the new Cover Girl of the X-Men.

Once again, Psylocke has way more ties to X-Force than she EVER had with the core X-Men team. There's absolutely nothing storywise that would benefit her character or the core X-Men team if she were apart of them. She's been a member of X-Force the longest and that's pretty much it - she's an assassin she doesn't fit on the X-Men team proper. You simply want her there just because, without any rhyme or reason.

Why put her on a team that's already full of leading characters to fight for screen time when she's already THE lead female character on X-Force. That's incredibly stupid and would be a very foolish move. At this point they need to look at where each character fits best within this universe and Pyslocke is better served on X-Force. Simple as that.

X3 did it wrong and it never happened. Singer now has the chance to give us his take on mind transfer & explore Psylocke's failure with it because it's great sci-fi and it adds loads of depth to a character who otherwise just happens to be a hot Asian ninja. She's a lot more than that.

Don't miss that opportunity!!

And I think she could make it to both X5 and X-Force. Same for Rogue, Gambit, Angel and Wolverine.

Go and read Remenders Uncanny X-Force. Now. A modern X-Force without her just seems wrong now.

Exactly. So good.

Waited 15 years to see her done justice, and will likely wait more. Would be dumb to axe her out where she can actually be developed now. Last thing I want is for Betsy to get the Future DOFP team treatment. Which is probably what would happen given the roster they have lined up of fan favs and crucial X-Men members right now. Singer won't focus on her vs those guys.

Would love to see her focused with Angel so if he's here and they want to focus on that, brilliant! That's how you do it! She clearly plays a much more important stronger role, and is Female lead in X-Force. Her better stories are there along with Angel. But if they want to actually develop here in X-Men correctly then **** yeah. Just don't give the Sunspot or Colossus treatment.

You can give Psylocke depth without doing the mind transfer storyline. Simply going with her as an Asian assassin from jump eliminates the need for an overly complicated origin. The mind transfer storyline is not integral at all in introducing Psylocke on film, in fact, I hope they steer as clear as they can from it. So completely unnecessary.
