Iron Man William Hurt confirms crossover!

Thanks for the heads-up A.D.:woot:

That's great. I finally got to see the trailer on the big screen today in front of Cloverfield for the 2nd time.

So will we see this same scene in both movies? Or will one movie show another angle of the same scene?

Hopefully they will make it into the movie(s) and not left on the cutting room floor.

It's good someone is finally attempting this. This is something I think most comic book and movie fans have wanted to see since X-men came out almost 8 years ago.

I hope Iron Man has one scene and the Hulk movie has it as well but continues it longer or there's a follow up scene in it.

So I guess Ghost Rider & Spidey will be in one of each other's movies & FF & X-men will be i none of each other's movies too?

That sounds cool!:word: I wonder though will he get in trouble for spillin the beans!:whatever:

Oh definitely. I know I for one was hoping we would finally get to see something like this in Justice League, but as we know that turned out to not be the case, but at least we'll be seeing it here. Kind of makes me wonder if they're planning to do that with all of their films though. How could they possibly have a crossover in Thor with it taking place completely in Asgard?

Well from what we've heard Thor takes place almost entirely outside of the events of these two films. Asgard is a different realm than Midgard. And timeline is another thing. Thor might be before the events of these films. And a later film could set up Thor's involvement in Avengers or elsewhere.

But that still counts on them making it that far ;) .

That sounds cool! I wonder though will he get in trouble for spillin the beans!

Some ignorant people were yelling for Kirsten Dunst to get fired when she spilled the beans on the Spider-man films. Which is stupid. If anything this is just something that will get us excited about the movies.

Hey maybe Hurt should be fired for talking so much about the Hulk plot :p . He revealed what sounded like a lot significant plot and spoiler points to me.

I'm not a huge Thor fan but what's his lifespan? I read the current script and it's difficult to tell what time period it's in exactly but couldn't Thor have adventures at different points in history?

Thor's thousands of years old as far as I know. His 1st film, set in Asgard, could easily be set well before any of the other Avenger(even Cap) were ever born.

We agree there. I think it is a great, bold, and daring move. Hopefully it is the start of a trend. I like it. :woot:

I don't think Marvel would have a problem with this. This is telling the public, hey this film is nothing like Hulk. It's a total relaunch, from a different angel, and I like it. :cwink:

It was a joke. But he did give out a lot of rather revealing information we hadn't heard much of before. And it was a comparison to how stupid and out of line people were regarding Kirsten Dunst.

I think that's really cool news. I'd like to see more of this in the future.

Too bad only the new films will get cross-over because Fox & Sony having FF, S-M, GR & X-Men. :(

And Lionsgate having The Punisher.

It's silly to me though that FF and X-men didn't even try anything at all. They could at least reference each other. It's annoying when the movies act like they are the only super powered characters on their planet.

Why couldn't someone in GR just say, great now these freaks are popping up in Nowhere City, Texas too.

Isn't GR at Sony? A Spider-Man reference would seem more likely.

There WAS that deleted scene on the F4 DVD where Reed made himself look like Logan, but that doesn't really count...
This sounds awesome though. However, I could see Iron Man fitting into TIH's storyline, but I don't really see Hulk in IM.... I'm sure they could think of something though

This sounds interesting. I like the idea of a cross-over, but only if it is subtle. I dont want Iron Man flying into a battle with the Hulk. I like what has been said so far about the cross-over, which is it is Tony Stark involved with the plot of the Hulk, not Tony Stark as Iron Man.
I think Nick Fury (Samuel L Jackson) is in both films as well.

I bet there are a few people who want to throttle Hurt now!
