I'm sitting here playing Wind Waker, and it's the first time, I got a lend of it. Amazing game. I love the cartoon graphics, it suits the game well. I love how explosions look, how Link looks when he's fighting, I love sailing across the sea. I love all the things you've come to expect from Zelda, such as the puzzle solving, exploration, and mini-quests. It also feels like quite an epic story, as it ties in to Ocarina Of Time. Link, the Hero Of Time, has become legend.

In some ways - in SOME ways - I feel the story is better than Ocarina Of Time. Medli has just realised she's a sage, and it was an incredibly touching scene. When the other birt comes to look for her and she's not there... man!! Powerful stuff. Wonderful game. The music kicks ass. Everything is great. When this game came out, I heard it got a lot of flak from the hardcore Zelda fans... I don't know why. Alot of whining about the graphics I think. But I love this cartoon look, everything looks great.

I beg to differ, I never got swallowed into this world as I did Ocarina of Time, it's a great game, I just never felt it was as engaging and design wise manigficent as Ocarina of time.

Sitting still for 5 minutes as my boat went across to some island ruined it for me. Especially if you got attacked on your way when all you wanted to do was get the **** there.

I know what you mean. But I enjoy the sailing. The whole thing of hunting for treasure and stuff, good fun. And when you harness the power of tornadoes travelling becomes faster.

It had its moments. The dungeons were really fun. It's just a shame there weren't more of them. And sailing around in the boat became tedious after a while. Personally I would have prefered fewer and much larger islands. Or something like that you start on an island, and when you have come a bit into the game something happens and Link must set sail toward the main continent of Hyrule.

Yeah, don't get me wrong, still a very good game, just couldn't stand the sailing.

The sailing ruined it for me too. It just took so god damn long and you had to do it so damn much.

Sometimes I surfed the net when I was sailing.

it is a good game....but i still have to collect the triforce, i just can;t be bothered sailing around to get them:(

That's where I am as well, and refuse to pick up from :(

it's jsut so boring going around in the boat.....horse back is better:D

I had no problem with the sailing, but it was too damn short. I got to Ganon and only had one fairy because I didn't think it would end so soon. I didn't build up my health or do any of the things I do in other Zelda games. It's sad too, because I loved everything else about the game. The graphics were a work of art, the story was beautiful, and game was fun. There just wasn't nearly enough of it.

I had no problem sailing either. I stopped in the Triforce treasure hunt but picked up it again. I got them all to get to the final boss. Glad I did. This game has the best final boss fight in any Zelda game. EVER.

OOT is still the best Zelda game so far. TWW was awesome though

The sailing was awesome. it never got boring for me. There's always little treasures or things to attack you...

I'm much more of a giant pig devil Ganon fan than Ganondorf spinning kimono man.

I loved WW but I got a bit tired of the sailing... has anyone noticed that Link looks like he is the lovechild of Samurai Jack and a powerpuff girl (Probably bubbles) but still the game kicks ass... anyone here Tingle'd... Y' know use Tingle's GBA maps?

:down

For my money, I think Ganondorf is better than Ganon... although I do like the option of both. That's why (as good as WW's final battle is), it can't top OoTs. A battle vs. both is just great.

Okay... Now I have to get the triforce shards. And you know, the search for these shards is very very tedius. First you have to find the charts (I've found all but one, I haven't found the ghost ship), then the chests, then you take them to Tingle to pay him to decipher the charts, and only then can you get the shards. The part that's pissing me off is having to collect more money to pay off Tingle.

Yeah, Tingle's a pimp. I think this is where I started searching for the big treasures. Best time to.

A couple of questions.

There's a dude at Dragon Roost Island that's got a job interview and can't get up the ledge. What do I do here? It drives me nuts.

Where do I get a bigger wallet? My current wallet or money bag or whatever its called holds 1000.

At Windfall Island, at the top of the ferris wheel, there's a sign that says something like "you need the fire arrow" but I can't see anything to shoot with the fire arrow.

The dancing guy that wants to know how to turn day into night... I think I'm close to the end of the game, and haven't seen or heard anything about how to turn day into night.

Wow... it's been a while since I've actually played that game through. I remember none of those things. :csad:

I need to pop that thing in now.

More questions. How do I find the ghost ship? All I've gathered is to hang out at sea when theres a half moon.

At the back of Dragon Roost Island there is a hole. It's too high up. There doesn't appear to be anything around I can hook onto. How do I get to the hole?

The Ferris Wheel might require you to light something. I think a fire arrow at a torch if I remember correctly. It'll make the thing go.

You'll need the ghost ship map to know where the map is. It'll be in different places when the moon is different shapes. Can't remember where and when, and I definately don't remember where the map is. :csad:

Dragon Roost Island, I think you need to blow something up... but a bomb somewhere, or something.

I just figured out the hole in the back of Dragon Roost Island.

Ya go inside the front, then go out on the second floor, and whoola! You're on a ledge! Just have to use the leaf to get over to a platform.
