Does anyone really know how to use or make vidoes in this?

I mean i just downloaded it. Do you need the vids stored to your computer or can you just have the vids via like youtube or so?

Movie Maker is really easy to use. You need the files saved to your comp. They need to be avi, wmv or mpg files.

Yeah, they have to be in window format.

How do you change a quicktime one to windows? Just change the properties? Cause most of the vids i got are quicktime.

then u need a video converter. I used something called SUPER from eRightSoft. Look for it on google its free.

^ I used WMM alot before converting to Final Cut.

If you have Quicktime, it's easy to convert MOV to WMV or AVI. Simply click on the movie, File -> Export, and choose the settings.

How much does Final Cut cost? From the sound of it, it doesn't seem free.

and i'll try doing that then later on then, prolly tomorrow.

First of all, Final Cut is a Macintosh only program. I use the less advanced version, Final Cut Express. It costs around $150 to $200. If your doing easy and casual editing, WMM is fine.

Wow! That much? I'll stick with WMM then and i tried the export thing on one of the vids and it worked fine. so thanks for the tip on that.:woot:

I use the any video converter... cuz it converts any video and it's free
