I've got some really nice friends, so I'm fine there. But now since I just got accepted into RIT, woot!, I'm gonna have to start making new friends when I get there. Ya know?

I got accepted into my first picked school for my first picked program. I'll be going to RIT for Game Design and Development.

Congrats GENERAL!

For a great low rate you can get online, go to the General and save some time!

So this is 24 hours late but 2013 had some goodies and some baddies for me personally. If I had to rank them:

1. Man of Steel-10
2. Jurassic Park 3D-10
3. Thor: The Dark World-9
4. Star Trek: Into Darkness-9
5. The Day of the Doctor(It was shown in theaters, it counts)-9

6. Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues-8
7. We're the Millers- 7
8. The Wolverine-6
9. Iron Man 3-6
10. This is the End-4.5
11. Grown Ups 2-2

Can't wait to see most of the movies this year!

My top movie of 2013 is probably Star Trek Into Darkness.

I'm currently reading Spider-Man : Revenge of the Green Goblin. I really like it so far. Maybe more so than Marvel Knights : Spider-Man.

So I finished Revenge of the Green Goblin. I honestly have never seen or known about that side of Norman before. It takes the reader into his psyche and makes you realize how extremely dark he is and there's no turning back. It's intense. I highly recommend it if you don't know too much about Norman Osborn.

He's truly a nut lol.

Cool, I have to check it out!

Thanks.

Do you need to read anything prior to Revenge of the Green Goblin?

Actually, nope! Good standalone read. There's some things that you might be confused about but you catch on right then and there.

I am about to read the book, "The Death of Gwen Stacy". I've never read her death issue. It collects #96-98, 121 & 122. I actually have and read 98 though.

Man that was a great read. I deem ASM #98, and #121-122 some of the best issues of Spider-Man ever.

They really are. And it might sound cliche saying that "The Death of Gwen Stacy" is the best Spider-Man comic book, but that storyline is really powerful. Gwen is DEAD. Period. And then the final showdown with Green Goblin is pretty intense as well.

I read all the comic books in order from Amazing Fantasy #15 up to around TASM #220, and so far no other story arc has come close. Heck, I'll go ahead and say it. I think the Death of Gwen Stacy is probably one of the best, if not the best comic book storylines of all time.

Eh screw cliches. You dig what you dig. And did you really? Did you read it through the Essentials or Masterworks?

It really was powerful. Especially the beginning of the issue since I knew it was coming.

#98 is such a good Spider-Man issue. It's simple and it has everything you'd want in a Spidey comic. So satisfying.

I've been reading a mix between Marvel Masterworks and Essential Spider-Man collections.

Rewatched MOS last night. I think it was around my 6th viewing. Loved it. Henry has the ability to portray such heart felt warmth into Clark. Like when he's trying to patch Lois's injury. That face he sells to show her "I'm not gonna hurt you" or when he sees Ma Kent for the first time and tells her "I'm not going anywhere, I promise."
And his Superman line deliveries are on point.
