HERE'S THE LINK

It's so sad what this woman's gone through and then to be put in this position. The fact that she had the state of mind to feed her baby so that it would remain quiet impressed me. I think she handled this situation perfectly.

I hope she shot twice.

Some dumb burglars. It's Oklahoma, everyone's armed to the teeth.

She did the right thing. There was a recent story in my area where robbers walked into a home and shot a family dead. Sad this happens and right after her husband died of cancer on Christmas day.

Oh my god that reporter's reporter voice is annoyingly bad.

more power to her.

sadly if this happen in the uk she would be up for murder, hell if she hit him with a bat she would have done time for assault

Good for her.

The dispatcher on the other end was awesome as well.

"I can't tell you to do that, but you do what you have to do to protect your baby"

Haha, the operator made sure to find that no liability loophole.

"I can't tell you to shoot him or not, but if he just so happens to get in front of your gun while you're aiming it, who can say what might happen?"

And some people say chivalry is dead. The woman was at least kind enough to dial 911 to ask for permission to shoot. :o

It's legal to kill a trespasser, so all I gotta say is double tap

As Peggy Hill would say, ho! YAY!!!

I'd buy that chick a beer. Good for her.

Poor woman. Dealing with her husband's death, and now having to kill an intruder. You know that's tearing her apart, even if it was totally justified.

A lot of states are really strict when it comes to protecting yourself like this; she would be facing jail time in many places, unfortunately. But good for her. She did the right thing, IMO.

I don't see the logic in a person who is threatened by a trespassing purloiner defending themselves and facing legal trouble.

In the UK a farmer was locked up for blowing away from robber low life.
He eventually got out and everyone agreed he was awsome. Then he joined the BNP and people thought, maybe not so awsome.

Justice prevails. My hat is off to the mother.

Does the law state that you can just simply shoot the intruder, or can you blow him away with a dozen bullets? Can you use a kitchen knife? Can you use your dad's collectible Limited Edition J.R.R Tolkien Sword in the basement? What are the limits here? Because personally, I would've had fun with these burglars.

Translation: **** my pants and cry in a corner.

Actually, there was a case not that long ago where someone used a Japanese sword to kill a burglar. Don't rob Samurai Jack's house.

People often underestimate how deadly swords can be.
