God, this is the most horrible thing I've ever heard of. What happened to patient consent? They can't perform surgery on anyone without consent from that person or their closest relative. The hospital clearly ****ed up and is now trying to cover their asses with a weak smokescreen. If I was her, I'd sue the **** out of them and have the licenses of any so-called doctors involved.

And I've also discovered a lot of the people here are either heartless or stupid. Perhaps both.

I agree with killing yourself if you woke up with no limbs. Imagine not being able to do anything, wipe your own ass, blow your nose, anything. That ****ing sucks.
