Achievements of today, many of them, were laughable fantasies only a short number of years ago.
 
Ago is a really lousy word to start a sentence with. :cmad:
 
"Ago" is derived from the archaic form "agone", which is still used by some people today.
 
Today would be great day to reinstate the use of agone!
 
The allure of a thorny rose has been a subject in countless poems and songs.
 
Us human beings like to think that we alone of all creatures enjoy it.
 
Thing is, taking in too much water can be quite dangerous.
 
'Movie' came from the term 'moving pictures' in the early days of cinema.
 
Stories told around campfires were an important means of transmitting societal traditions and mores to subsequent generations in the pre-literate age of man.
 
Man cannot live on bread alone, but also requires water and oxygen.
 
Oxygen in concentrated form can be dangerously flammable.
 
Flammable materials should be kept away from windows on a hot summer day.
