So we got a thread for your favourite lines, so how about worst lines?

I'll start:

It's my birthday... Now it's time for me to light my candles!

- Max Dillon

You're a fraud, Spider-Man!

- Harry Osborn

EDIT: I have a feeling this thread may get popular. Not sure if good or bad.

Any word that passed the lips of Dr Kafka deserves some kind of negative acclaim.

Max Dillon's whole make believe conversation with Spider-Man in his apartment.

I second both of these. :woot:

Also, "Hey Spider-Man! Thanks for stepping up for me."

"I knew you'd come back."

It's not so much Spidey's line, but the kid's.

I thought most of the lines were bad to awful but I hated this the most:

"...and my parents!"
-Peter Parker

Oh good god in heaven there are just oh so many terrible lines in the film, it's hard to choose.

"It's my birthday, time to light my candles."

"IIII AM DA RHYYYNOOOOOOEEEE!!! I TULD YEW I'D BE BAYCK, YOU FRAIDOFLEKSI, LEEETLE BOIII!!"

"You're a fraud, SPIDER-MAN!" *throws temper tantrum*

"You're amazing! They should call you....the Amazing Spider-Man!!!"

"I can feel it in my bones you can't blahblahblah"

Oh man there's so many more, but then I'd be posting the whole script :o

Yeah...

No idea wtf Orci and Kurtzman were thinking there. No idea wtf they were thinking most of the time, honestly.

I DEFINITELY like this movie, but the script isn't just 'not-good - it's like... substandard.

Idk why the hate about the parents line,it's normal lol.

because he completely ignores the Uncle Ben line.

It's like

"I wish you're uncle could be he-" "AND MY PARENTS".

:oldrazz:

It wasn't like that, they talked about Ben and then Aunt May said that, then seconds later he said "And my parents"

Yeah, but it feels like that.

His only words about Uncle Ben are "He'd say 'you need to get a job', 'you need to start... (something idk)".

Aunt May talks about Uncle Ben for the most part.

This! It seemed as if Peter even disliked Uncle Ben! Gaaah!

We had a lot of scenes with uncle Ben in the first more than SM1,the final part is with him,and saying it looked that Peter don't like him is just....we know that isn't true lol

That's how it looked like in TASM 2 specifically.

I would say Rhino but I couldn't understand a ****ing word he said.

Like if the Uncle Ben arc was never explored,we had a whole movie with him,his lesson still there...Spider-Man.

No it's not. Peter hasn't learned a single thing. Peter has gotten Ben, Cap Stacy, and Gwen killed over 2 movies lol.

With great power comes great despair.

Then you remember the comics.

He hasn't grown as a person in 2 films.

Yeah, but in the movies, this is within the space of around 1 year.

Time doesn't have to do anything with this,Gwen died because of her action by helping Peter in that moment, she doesn't regret anything,it was her choice.
