Would you recommend the Sandman comics?

Anyone here read the Sandman comics? If so, are they worth it?

Sandman is only one of the most critically claimed comic book series of all time, delving into all corners of mythology, history, and philosophical concepts. The concepts of Death and mortality, the truth of fiction, family relationships, redemption, and responsibility are all ideas that are touched upon. One issue was the first and only comic book to win the World Fantasy award for best short story.


In other words, if you don't read it, I will make everyone you ever loved disapear. Forever.
