Would you watch an anime Batman series?

Depends on the story. "Batman: Child of Dreams" is one of my all time favorite Bat stories so it's not as if the whole "Anime/Magna" thing wouldn't work. It's all about character design and story.

Just another art style that would offer some interesting stylistic options. I don't see it as a bad thing, if done "right." And I'm sure everyone's definition of how to do Batman or anime "right" differs.
Oh, and for the record--I liked the Pokemon anime growing up. Sure, it's not GOOD anime, but it was still a lot of fun.

Definitly not. I do not like the way characters are drawn in japanimation. I mean, have you seen what Bruce Wayne looks like in some designs of Gotham Knight? He looks like a wuss in a few of them! I don't even wanna imagine what the Joker, Two-Face and Black Mask would look like.

absolutely.

and i really don't want it to have anything to do with btas. btas was great (most of the time.... we tend to forget the many utterly unwatchable episodes), but i'm sick of every subsequent piece of batman-related animation being compared to it.

Plus: the Japanese (and lets not forget the European schools here) actually make animated series which aren't G or PG-13...

As for the comments about how wussy batman looks in Gotham Knight, watch the trailer: you're getting a bit of everything.

I'm not attacking you--I in fact agree with your assessment. It's funny to me, however, that you mention Teen Titans, because that's what happens when American art studios try to use Japanese anime styles.

Now that i think about it more, the asker of this question probably intended it to be traditional anime, thus written by japanese anime writers. So I change my answer to no, cause they would ruin it horribly.
