It's good to hear they are showing some interest in Tyson Kidd.

I knew I was forgetting something from last night's Smackdown:

Backstage, wade Barrett gave an interview trashing Ezekiel Jackson, and challenged him to a match at Over The Limit if he was up for it. Heath Slater said that Barrett should make it for the Intercontinental Championship. Barrett agreed. So it will be Barrett v. Jackson for the IC Title. The promo was after Corre's beatdown of Kane and Jackson.

I'm just glad they're bringing back managers. So many guys could use a mouth piece; JoMo, Swagger, and Bryan come to mind.

Oh Randy!

Randall at his best.

- As noted before, WWE creative team member Michael Hayes will debut as Tyson Kidd's manager on this week's WWE Superstars. WWE had meetings recently and talked about reviving the manager role for some of their heels who can't talk on the microphone at the main event level.

The fact it has took the brain surgeons this long to come to that realization speaks volumes, maybe next they will realize that the chicken **** heel route is not the only way to book a heel.

This is also the same creative team that took how long to figure out the WWE logo looked like an 'M' when flipped upside down for Miz's title?

Watching the prestigious WWE HOF on Blu ray for the first time. A lot of good inductions this year with the exception of Laycool in character , really out of place , but Sunny's speech was good. I'm all for one more Sunny run. The other complaint is a WWE All Stars commercial .. really could of done without that.

I wouldn't be shocked if this is the continued influence of HHH. Seems like the old school mentality he's trying to bring back lately.

What are these lies you speak?

The lies of hope man! :(

That's a pretty good bet, from the way Sin Cara and especial Kharma have been booked, to the bringing back of mangers, you have to imagine Triple H's oldschool values and smarts are kicking in behind the scenes.

Hmm might be. When he's not worrying about his own legacy he seems to do a lot of good for the company.

I'm hoping Hayes is used to help Brodus Clay as well. I don't want him lost in the shuffle, and while he's decent enough on the mic, having someone like Hayes back him might help get him over.

I must say I do feel a sense of vindication seeing everyone go from bashing Triple H non-stop to seeing him as the ray of hope for professional wrestling.

:)

-- The original wrestling ring from Killer Kowalski's Institute of Pro Wrestling in Massachusetts is up for auction on eBay. A number of notable wrestlers learned the ropes in this ring including Triple H, Chyna, Perry Saturn, Kazarian, A-Train and John Kronus.

The auction can be seen here.

-- The Nasty Boys, Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags, are scheduled to appear on an upcoming episode of Man v. Food on the Travel Channel.

-- Rey Misterio, Sr. (Miguel Lopez, uncle of WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio) is scheduled to introduce a new Rey Misterio, Jr. at a CMLL live event on Friday, May 27 in Tijuana, Mexico. Misterio, Sr. has trained the young upstart and is said to have a lot potential. Rey Mysterio, the original Rey Misterio, Jr., has given the wrestler his blessing.

Often times in Mexico, a famous wrestler will allow a junior to assume his persona in exchange for a percentage of their earnings.

- While it's not etched in stone, the current plan is to have Sting vs. Hulk Hogan main event TNA's Bound For Glory pay-per-view. This would all depend on Hogan's health and if he can wrestle or not.

- Abyss worked this past weekend's TNA live events with his teeth still missing, so he hasn't gotten them replaced yet from when Rob Van Dam kicked them out at the iMPACT tapings a few weeks ago.

- Regarding recent rumors online, Dixie Carter has not been replaced in TNA or demoted. She is still the President of TNA and is still involved in all major business decisions. Dixie's mother Janice, who has a financial role with the company, has been to maybe two shows in the past few months but is not running things.

- As noted before, the May 9th episode of WWE RAW did a 3.18 rating with 4.95 millio viewers. Here's a ratings breakdown:

Kelly Kelly and Eve Torres vs. The Bella Twins with Kharma's attack lost 177,000 viewers from the opener. Kane vs. Mason Ryan and Dolph Ziggler vs. Santino Marella lost another 353,000 viewers.

Backstage segments going into Alex Riley vs. John Cena gained 104,000 viewers while the match itself gained another 685,000 viewers. You could say that Riley did better than The Miz usually does in the same spot.

The segment with Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler and Jack Swagger lost 172,000 viewers, which isn't that bad for the time slot. Swagger vs. Kofi Kingston for the US Title lost 353,000 more viewers and the main event of Miz vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. Rey Mysterio gained 736,000 viewers to bring the overrun to a 3.57.

I've always thought HHH would be great behind the scenes. He's a huge JCP fan, and JCP was always better than WWF from an in ring and booking standpoint. Vince was always better at the entertainment aspect of the business.

Well it looks like he's put down his shovel and picked up.....something that benefits the company and not just him. Maybe a really powerful hammer infused with mystical powers or something......

Just as long as the entertainment aspect isn't forgotten, because like it or not that's what makes professional wrestling on a mainstream level.

Triple H has gotten his hammer of power back and has seen the error of his ways. He has been humbled and is now learning how to properly assume his role as future leader of the kingdom.

I guess the McMahonson(-in-law) got humbled at Wrestlemania. He's been spending more time at Stamfo...er...I mean "Asgard" lately.

He's not wrestling, that's why. Most of us have said for ages that he could be gold behind the scenes because he is a guy steeped in the old NWA days, which were the glory years of the business.

:lmao:.......:wow: That's kinda creepy.

Tyson Kidd is decent on the mic, I can think of several guys who could REALLY use a manager.

BTW, what happened to Jackson Andrews? Seemed like him and Kidd were being pushed in the right direction, then nothing.
