As for your earlier comment of course the people there are going to pop for Orton winning. Its a much bigger high being there live than it is watching at home so people are going to pop when a big thing happens on a Smackdown show they are attending.

That could have been their plan all along or they may have changed it after the way people reacted 3 days before SD aired. Its hard to say what the original plan was before they taped the show and when they were taping the show.

Maybe the plan was for them to feud and Christian to not get the tile back or maybe the plan was to spin them into seperate feuds.

Or maybe the plan was always for Christian to turn heel after losing the title and have a big program with Orton.

Its hard to say but we know Vince is always changing his mind so nothing is concrete.

With Smackdowns ratings sinking its hard to say what Vince is reacting to. He damn sure reacts when the network is annoyed and I'm sure they'd like Smackdown to do as good as possible.
