Yes they changed it. I got the DVD at midnight last night at WalMart and the first thing I checked was those entrances I was curious about.

I did see that they kept "Hate Me Now" and DMX in tact for The Miz and John Cena's entrance, but yea the entrance for Triple H sounded different, and they just went back to Undertaker's regular entrance music. Disappointed.

For some reason I figured the dvd would have the entrances used in tact for a couple of months then start editing it after that.

It's a shame that Orton is on Smackdown now. It would have been hilarious to have them both hearing voices while in the ring together.

There's something weird about the DVD... i know what it is but I don't know how to describe it. I don't recall any other WWE DVD's in the past being edited like this, but maybe I'm wrong. I don't have very many.

Is it just the entrances that used different music that are edited different?

Triple H and Undertaker's entrances are the only things I've noticed being edited.

But there's something off with the way it was filmed or something. Like I said I know what it is, but I can't describe it.

I've essentially watched the entire WM27 DVD now (only thing I haven't watched is the special features), and the only edits that I noticed were no Metallica or Johnny Cash for the Triple H v. Undertaker entrances. Everything else seems in tact. Tho I didn't see the actual PPV broadcast so I can't testify on that front. I can only compare it to my experience being there live, which some things are obviously gonna be seen there that aren't on the telecast. For example, the ring announcer announced The Rock for us for his opening promo, whereas the telecast had a little video package to introduce him.

Also, if the video and audio is any representation of the telecast, then TV did *NOT* do any kind of justice for the crowd reactions. Crowd reactions, like the cheers for The Rock, or the boos for John Cena, were infinitely louder than they sound on the DVD. There were "Undertaker / Triple H" chants during that match that engulfed the entire Georgia Dome that you can barely make out on the DVD.

I haven't watched the Special Features yet, but everything listed on the DVD is what I wanted. Sheamus v. Daniel Bryan US Title Lumberjack match (that turned into an Over the Top Rope Battle Royale), and the promos from the Raw right before Wrestlemania, as well as the John Cena and Rock promo the night after.

The only thing I was hoping I'd get that I didn't, was Rock's introduction on Valentine's Day as the host of Wrestlemania, and the promo he cut that night.

Disc 3 is also the full Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

I'm still disappointed that the entrances for Triple H and The Undertaker were edited. But I'm happy that at least the video packages for The Miz and John Cena weren't altered.

It is interesting watching it on DVD, because there were some things that were captured on TV that I wasn't able to pick up on live.

Watching it again on DVD, I'm still gonna give WM27 a pretty solid rating. I don't have the Wrestlemania history that a lot of you guys do to be able to compare it to others, and rank it on a list somewhere, but I still think it was good. Obviously being there live gives me more of an emotional investment in it and enhances the enjoyment I got out of it, but I certainly don't think the PPV was "bad" by any means. Especially the main events. Triple H v. Undertaker may go down as one of my favorite all time matches. While The Miz v. John Cena certainly wasn't a "mat classic", that's also not exactly what I look for from matches. I thought the match was exciting, and the added element of The Rock and his involvement added to it. Edge v. Del Rio was an exciting match that shouldn't have opened the show, but alas. Even tho I'm not 100% sold on the guy yet, Cody Rhodes had a good match with Rey Mysterio, and CM Punk v. Randy Orton was a good match, despite the very predictable ending.

Glad the DVD is finally out now and I get to relive WM27, even if there is something wonky that I can't really explain with it.

Now... off to Smackdown. Hopefully it's good tonight. I'll spoiler tag the results when I get back and probably drop some pics too.

When Punk first took over Nexus it was absolute gold. But even though I like Orton better than I like Punk, I didn't like how they booked that feud. Except for the night when Punk taunted Orton's "wife", and then bashed Orton's knee in with the lead pipe, Punk never once got over on Orton. You can't book a feud like that.

Again, Punk has the ability to make the audience believe what he's saying. He can make it feel real; The Miz is all style and no substance. I prefer Punk, but I wouldn't say either are the best. Both Foley and Flair are more versatile mic workers.

Outspoken celebrity blogger Perez Hilton posted an article on www.FitPerez.com concerning Chyna's return to the squared circle.

"The Ninth Wonder of The World" debuted for TNA Wrestling at last Tuesday's iMPACT! taping in Orlando, Florida. The former WWE Diva was revealed as Kurt Angle's "mistress" and will be competing in a mixed tag team match with Kurt Angle against Jeff and Karen Jarrett at TNA Sacrifice this Sunday.

According to Hilton, Vince McMahon was considering placing Chyna in the WWE Hall of Fame, but has since dismissed the idea due to her association with the rival promotion. Hilton adds McMahon is furious with her decision to join TNA.

TMZ.com reported last week that Chyna has not signed a contract with TNA Wrestling as she is currently working on a "handshake deal" with a "very, very short leash."

Chyna is off to a good start so far as sources within TNA Wrestling say she exceeded expectations in regards to how she handled herself backstage at the event.

"Chyna was very well liked," said one TNA source. Another source added, "She was great." It was also noted that she has mellowed out.

Chyna made a second wrestling related appearance at last Saturday's "Legends of the Ring" convention in Monroe, New Jersey. She appeared healthy and in good spirits.

What say you, Sage? Would you rank Punk or Miz up there with Flair and Foley?

On the mic?

Punk, not up at their level though he's got flashes of it. Miz, definitely not up there. They've got some ways to go. I would say Punk is at Edge's level on the microphone.

When 3dge talkes everyone listens...whether he is face or heel he gets you to listen....my wife and her borhters can careless about Del Rio or Punk on the mic or Miz unlike me but she always admitted that edge had a away of making her listen(keep in mind she can't stand heels)

Grow up Vince , these people need to earn a living . At least she's not busy shooting another season of celebrity rehab.

I felt sorry for Eric during the ropes challenge but he had to go, the guy just wasn't in the shape needed to be a pro wrestler. Ivelisse I think will get her shot, Austin seemed to have faith in her and I could see her on the roster one day, she has the best upside of the women on the show IMO.

It's pretty clear the male trainers favour Martin and Jeremiah, but I can see from the exchange in Austin's den (best part of the show other than when he sends one home) that the business side of Austin and Demott know Luke is what the WWE is looking for.

hmmm maybe there is more there.....maybe there was an offer from the WWE on the table, I mean come on...she hasn't been relevant since Clinton was in office

I was kind of pulling for Eric at the start, but his conditioning was gar. bage. and you can't go to something like a Tough Enough out of shape and expect to be taken seriously

he survived simply because someone ****ed up worse than him in those previous weeks

I really have my doubts about that report about Vince and Chyna being legit. She's been a total train wreck in current years, not the type of person Vince would be going after, and I doubt she'd even be capable of drawing interest or money at this point. That's not even to mention the fact that there's allegedly tons of problems between her, HHH, and Stephanie. Whole thing sounds made up to me.

Eric did well in the second and third weeks, but the other times he lucked out. He could've been cut in the third but he did well in the skills challenge. There really was no way for him to get his conditioning up in time, especially since the training got harder and harder.

What was the auditioning process like for this season?

That would be interesting. I always thought they wanted us to forget about her.

I'm curious to see who gets injured on Tough Enough. They made it out to be Jeremiah or Martin.

If Vince wanted her in the HOF that WAS the offer. Even Trish Stratus has openly stated her opinion that Chyna should go in the HOF. Not saying she should but we know the talk is out there.

I don't know if the story is true but I wouldn't be shocked if it was because when has Vince McMahon EVER needed a rational reason to get pissed off over something?

He seems to be getting more and more irrational behind the scenes as time goes on. I'm iffy on TNA using Chyna but the woman has to work.

If this story is true its as stupid as Vince losing his sh** when Hogan announced his TNA signing at MSG.

They never showed it. The contestants were picked off camera as far as I'm aware. Shame, I love seeing other people trying to make it.

SD Spoiler
Layla cut a promo saying she hurt her knee against Michelle McCool at Extreme Rules but that it was worth it, since she is gone from WWE. Michael Cole comes out and begins berating her. Kharma comes to the ring and lays out Layla, then goes after Cole, who hides in the Cole Mine.

:argh:so close

Is anyone else disturbed that Michael Cole is within conceptual striking distance of being Divas Champion?
