Hi.

I'm trying to get a bit more info on the Spider Man/Black Cat and Daredevil: Target stories that Kevin Smith has written. I know there was a huge delay with the scripts with them.

Ive noticed that Amazon has both Issue 1-6

which seems to have been slated as incomplete before ever being released.

If anyone could explain for me please:

1. Are either of these the most complete versions available?
2. If so, are they actually any good (I'm a huge fan of Smith's other comics)?
3. Is there any TPB of Daredevil: Target? If not, how many issues were made and is there no real ending to the storyline?

only one issue of DD: The Target was ever made, so no, there's no trade for it

There should be/will be a trade for Spider-Man/Black Cat
edit: here it is. looks like only the HC is available right now, but that's a good price for it

neither was as good as his Daredevil, Green Arrow, or Viewaskewniverse comics

Elijya pretty much covered it.

Daredevil Target is planned to be finished the last time I heard, but I wouldn't really count on it. I believe we were lucky that he finished Spider-Man/Black Cat.

But I really liked the Spidey/Black Cat mini. It was different from most Spider-man stories and I like that these days. Gets a little old watching Spider-Man fight Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, and Venom every five seconds.

Spider-Man/Black Cat was a nice little story. Nothing that great.

If you want some real Kevin Smith goodness try 'Daredevil:Guardian Devil'
Which is quite possibly my favorite DD story.

Try not to read any spoilers about it, the mastermind behind the whole plot was a real shock.

Yeah, my comic shop had the hardback of Spider-man/Black Cat last week in their new comic section.

Thanks for the replies. That certainly clears a few things up. I think I'll pick up the Black Cat book. Shame about Target. I've just finished reading Guardian Devil and, youre right, it's amazing.
