anyone else having trouble with the grapple system? i cant perform any grapples whatsoever... i press A(xbox) then left stick and it does nothing at all........

Is this game even worth picking up? From the videos Ive seen and the countless reviews it makes me feel like the THQ has gotten lazy yet again and still updated an out of date graphics engine, I mean its the same crap since 2007 when the series made the jump to ps3 and xbox. The entrances, characters are lifeless and the the hair is still weird looking like how it was on the ps2.

WWE 12 is an improvement over the last few years......

but, is it enough of an improvement to warrant a purchase, especially if you have become jaded with the series? I'm not so sure.........

essentially, yes, for the "weak" chain grapples. It's kind of like the old No Mercy system where you have to initiate the grapple, then press grapple again ( plus direction ) to do the actual move. except in WWE 12, you have 4 initial chain grapple states ( depending on the direction you push ).

once the opponent is groggy, then you just need to press the grapple button + direction once to do a strong grapple move.

I haven't played or watched anything wrestling related in over 10 years but im having fun with this game. Granted I don't know 90% of the roster so iv just been creating the classics. Made a sweet Goldberg, even got his theme in the game as well.

I haven't yet man. Im getting close to just spending the 99 cents it costs to get all the unlockables. Im playing through the Universe thing now so maybe he'll be unlocked through that?

Hm. I actually turned on the broadcast (its taking place at my university tonight) and i saw a little promo with him. Seems pretty entertaining. Still, dont think anyone will top the Rock or a Steve Austin. Those guys were the s**t.

On a side note, what the hell is the difference between the WWE championship and World Heavyweight Championship? Which one is THE championship?

The Blinged out one is THE title... the other is the former WCW title which is the WHC. It's on SmackDown as they're two "different brands."

I believe you have to unlock certain superstars like the last game.

Someone suggested do away with RTWM and concentrate on every other aspect of the game. The more I play the more I agree. Universe 2.0 feels like a beta. A lot of the game does actually with the awful CC that's finally starting to work. Plus all the glitches.
