So I've just started gettong into this show (seen about 5 episodes not in order) and for the minute I'm gonna try and skip the "Mytharc" episodes, so on that note do any of you guys have any suggestions for eps I should watch? So far I've seen the Pilot, The Host, Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose (by far the best IMO), The Post Modern Prometheus and a couple of others that's name wasn't listed.

Honestly, I'd say you should just start from the beginning and move forward. This is the type of show that benefits by watching from start to finish. Part of the reason seasons 3-5 are so good is because you've grown to really care about the characters by the end of season 2.

I'm not trying to be a jerk, honestly, but if you're skipping the mytharc episodes, in my opinion there's no point in watching this show.

My wife and I are watching the series from the start and going through every episode. I've seen it before...but it was so long ago I honestly don't remember any of the stories. My wife has NEVER seen it and she's hooked now

i was watching The Host episode on scifi today.

they cut out the last shot of the ep .

why would they do that? can they do that? that was a fantastic part of the ep. to bad that some young kids didnt get the whole ep.

I love The X-files, but I only saw most of Seasons 5 and 6 late at night on Syfy. I need to get caught up on the DVDs form the beginning! Too bad I don't have Netflix anymore.

Great show but I stopped watching it after the first movie, I thought it was going down hill, too much milking of the mythos and I wasn't a fan of Fox replacement.

Of the top of my head my favorit episodes were :

- Tooms and Tooms return
- the black and white episode with the elephant man character who was a fan of Cher
- the Smoking Man episode which starts like Forest Gump ( the chocolat box dialogue )

I've been doing a rewatch of the entire series. Season 1{9/10} is still very good. Season 2{8/10} starts off kinda slow but picks up in the second half. Season 3 is good so far. The Season 2 finale/Season 3 preimere is awasome
