x-men (Christopher Nolan style)

Hi, I've a question for everybody here. What if Christopher Nolan do his own take of x-men ? How do you see it happen (if it was happening) ?

Christopher Nolan is too deep for X-Men? Wha...? What do you mean by that? X-1 and X-2 are pretty deep. Just as deep as Nolans Bat movies.

And no, no Nolan for X-Men. He'd sap the fun and life out of it. And the action scenes would be crap.

The X-Men film franchise has enough logic problems without Nolan coming in to add a few more walking plot conveniences. No thanks.

yeah i say leave nolan to the powerless heroes. he would try to hard to explain the powers of the mutants, and ground them in reality. he might make it to dialogue heavy and not enough ass kicking.

I think Vaughn's First Class would come damn close to what Nolan would do with the X-Men.

If he was to do it I'd venture he'd find a theme to go with, similar to Singer did, but then ground it. He'd likely delve even deeper into the theme of tolerance and then run with it.

Pretty much like how he tackled Fear and Escalation in the Bats trilogy.

Yea, in a heavy handed and completely unsubtle way.

He'd have characters going on long monologues about the treatment of mutants being similar to the treatment of blacks in the early part of the 20th century.

Instead of having the audience make the connection itself...
