They should make a live action x-men show based off the first 5.Throw in a little smallville,veronica mars,and x-files and this would be a hit.Here is my casting ideas.Of course you would need all new actors for the role,I don't think Marsden and Frasier could pull of 17 to 18 year olds.

Hank McCoy/Beast:Teddy Dunn(He was on Veronica mars and I think he has a soft spoken look to him.He also studies Politics and History which would give him some knowledge to throw out as Beast)

Yeah, I was thinking about this too. It would have my attention, but then again, I'm a huge fan of the original five. Now you need to cast some of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants that they'd be facing in a 'freak of the week' like matter such as Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch.

Some more story/ideas for when the series progresses:
1. A love triangle between Scott, Jean, and Warren (with Jean eventually picking Scott).
2. The beginnings of Beast's de-evolution (such as growing blue fur).
3. Polaris and/or Havok joining the team.
