I just saw an interview where Mike Allred (artist of X-Force/X-Statix) said a couple of the characters they created were in the X-Men 3 movie.

Can anyone post pics or tell me which characters from his comic were in the X-Men 3 movie?

There were tons of mutant cameos in the film. I'm sure some were created solely for the film while others were loosely based off of characters from the comics. Now, to point out some of these cameos and provide enough evidence to say that they may be a certain character would be difficult.

I found some of this, most, on Wikipedia:
X-Statix' Spike:

The character Spike, portrayed by Lance Gibson, battles Wolverine in the forest, where he was depicted with the ability to extrude and hurl bony spikes from his flesh. A rhino-like mutant is seen being depowered on Alcatraz in a deleted scene. An animatic on the DVD shows the character who breathes hot embers is named Ash, and the novel lists a raven-haired, leaping female as Komodo.

and althought I don't have the picture from the movie,
Phat:

In the scene where Magneto first meets the Omegas, there is a very large man who slims down in order to sit down between two people. The character, Phat, is played by two actors, Via Saleaumua and Richard Yee, as Phat in "large mode" and "small mode", respectively. The DVD release features a deleted scene in which Phat is frozen solid by Iceman and then shattered by Colossus.

plus, I know he isn't part of the X-Statix but I found this:

Said this actor was playing this mutant.

Yikes. He's credited as playing Glob Herman??? That's definitely an "in name only" treatment of the character.

Glob Herman actually is in the film, to my recollection, but only for a second.

During the invasion of Alcatraz, there is a mutant that gets hit with a cure dart and falls to the ground, and it looks as though his "skin" is really veiny and muscley, as if he were turned inside out.

BMM, you are normally more on target than this. Of course that isn't Glob Herman. Glob was in the movie, he is seen hit with a cure dart in the first wave of mutant attacks on the soldiers. He has transparent skin, falls to the ground and is cured.

Yep, see my answer above this.

Yea but mine was first. You see MY answer!!!

:oldrazz:

Heh, I actually meant 'yep' as in 'you're right, i agree' and 'see my answer' as in showing you where i agreed. I wasn't trying to take away your 'firstness'! :nono::word:

I know. I know. :csad: As soon as I read your and Nell's responses, I could picture the shot of Glob Herman falling to the ground. I blame it on my cold.
