Microsoft layoffs have resulted in cut funding for independant studio Romero Games as the studio lays off its entire workforce.

More like has never been good at running things. Windows Mobile, HoloLens, Internet Explorer, The Kin Phone, Zune, Bob, Cortana, Office Assistant, Lumia, Skype, Kinect, Band, Invoke Speaker, Groove Music...

I said "better," not great. But they did/do have a near monopoly on consumer OS for a reason.
