I'm not sure whether Bob will make it out of the next episode alive, so I thought he deserved his own thread. And even if he does survive, well, he's going to have some trouble getting around from now on. I think it would be pretty damned sweet if he did get bit in the leg by a zombie and got infected, but the Termites cut his leg off before it could travel through his system to turn him. That way, he'd survive and they would have all saved his life and ended theirs by chopping his leg off and eating it.

However, sadly, I think that even if he was bit, he'll eventually turn. But hopefully the Termites will bite the big one too.

Regardless of all that though, it will be sad to see Bob go. I like the guy and it was nice seeing him and Sasha hook up and be happy. Though knowing this show, that probably means that he's ****ed.

I haven't read the comics but [BLACKOUT]that does sound very close to the storyline of the cannibals getting turned by eating infected meat[/BLACKOUT] I had read about. The television series has veered off in places from the comic too so whether they use that angle or not remains to be seen.

Yeah, there's been speculation that is what will happen. I'd kinda be surprised if it does though because I believe the actor playing Gareth is a series regular this season, and something like that happening would pretty much guarantee he'd be a goner by the next episode or two.

I think the actress who played Karen got bumped to series regular after the Season 3 finale...look how that turned out. :wow:

Really? Haha then I guess you can never be too sure of anything.

what i don't get is if everyone is 'already infected' why would it matter if his leg was infected?

Everyone's infected with what makes you get back up. Bites kill you, I imagine eating the infection would be the same.

If I recall correctly, it was never made clear in the comics if eating infected meat turned the cannibals into walkers because [BLACKOUT]Rick and company killed them all before it had a chance to kick in.[/BLACKOUT]

Gareth made Bob's leg look damn tasty, until I saw it on the grill. Gross.

Wonder if they had any hot sauce or tortillas to go along with that juicy meat mmm

the meat didn't look good :( i kept gagging as he bit into it

Bob was bitten by that walker that pulled him under the water. That's why he was crying to himself outside the church before he was grabbed.

TAINTED MEAT!!!!

Lol. I thought that too. The way he was eating that hunk just reminded me of a great piece of meat and that I need to grill more. Then I saw the foot.:barf:

im wondering if they're gonna eat the other leg haha

Bob's one of the best characters on the show for me because of his levity and optimism, too rare on the show. Sad as it is though he's probably screwed. The saving consolation is that the cannibals are probably all poisoned now. Eating a man's flesh that had been bitten would mostly likely give them the sickness that would kill and turn them.

Yeah, nothing was ever proven.

Can these ****ing morons turn at the end of the episode ?

Was Bob's head made of butter?
Because Tyreese kind of just slid the knife into his head.
