I think its his voice - Perlman has the perfect Croc voice. Along with size, body type, the way he carrys himself. I mean he is perfect for the role. Clayface's human persona would have to be someone more non-perlman-esque.

Ron Perlman is beyond cool, but I don't see a part there he needs to fill right away. They should definitely stay away from the Killer Crocs for a while and the Clayfaces forever. If they ever do have a Killer Croc or a Solomon Grundy, give Perlman a call !
