Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman will star as a couple of terminally ill friends off on an adventure in The Bucket List, a road trip movie to be directed by Rob Reiner.
Nicholson and Freeman are set to play two cancer patients who decide to spend their last days crossing items off their 'bucket list' (a wish list of things they want to do before kicking the bucket) instead of in a hospital.

The Bucket List was written by Justin Zackham and will be produced by Craig Zadan, Neil Meron and Alan Greisman. Filming is expected to begin in late 2006.
