Personally, I've always found the Titanic to be fascinating.

The Blackout of August 2003!!!

Got a couple of days off work.

City was OOOH SO QUIET at night.

Cooked breakfast and made coffee on the Barbeque

Kept cool by hanging out in the swimming pool.

It was GREAT!

it's not my "favorite" but the weirdest disaster was the 2003 fires (or 2004 I forget) the sky was dark all day and ash rained down non-stop for days.
